Now, it seems to me like since the barrier has became clear life will be so much more easy for children of the FAYZ. Obviously the parents will want answer and that would take time, but people can make signs with the story or if someone can do sign language that could happen (or just plain old lip reading).

People from the outside could help them farm better, tell them what foods are edible, and other stuff.

What do you think is bad and good about the barrier being clear?

I guess it could be very helpful for the kids, with food and just general survival techniques, but when you think about it, there's going to be parents of people who's children have died. And the Coates parents... Panda's parents would be the worst though... I can just image that:

Panda's parents: *holds up sign* Have you seen Panda?
Caine: *Takes pen from some random kid, writes on t-shirt and holds it up* We ate him

Now, THAT would be awkward... Or maybe Caine and Connie:

Connie: *holds up sign* Caine, I'm your mother!
Caine: *holds up sign* I found that our a year ago. Suck on that *Walks off*

That would be awkward and disturbing.

It would be really hard but haven't the kids learnt to grow up now? I mean, at the end of Fear they seemed to be just lazing around after a while, maybe putting up signs like, "Hey Mum," not "OMG OMG OMG OMG MUM I LOVEE YOU SO VERY MUCH!".

So I think it could be worse.

It would be bad due to the torture of being able to just see them but not touch them or be with them fully, plus i don't any survival techniques are gonna be useful, they already survived a year

Eh, I think it will be good and bad.

Bad... well the entire fact that the outside has no idea what they're actually dealing with.
Good... well you've got the whole practical side. Like you said the outside would be able to give them information and things like that.

The matter of fact is, they still can't get food through the barrier, and the adults will be rather repulsed by how the kids live :/. However, you are right, it definitely has advantages.

Mostly good. i guess its good for the adults to see how the kids are living so they can help out as best they can. (even if thats only showing them written messages). and it also puts hope into the kids minds, makes it seem like the ends coming, as in the barrier coming down. but it will depress many. whether its the parents of someone finding out there child died or an old couple finding out their beloved cat most likely got eaten by there favourite next door neighbour. and it will make the kids get home sick all over again.
But its a good thing the barriers clear. more benifets then not.

I think it's good for the older kids but hell for the little ones

I think it'll be terrible. Like, you can't really TALK to any of the adults. Plus, the adults will surely see what the kids have degraded to.

The people inside the FAYZ probably don't have much paper left anymore, so writing communication down would be hard. Lip reading and sign language are great ideas - there's definitely someone OUTSIDE the FAYZ who can do them although finding someone inside the FAYZ who can lip read and/or sign might be harder. You're right that if the adults are being smart they will begin to write down hints and ideas for the kids, about what to do to stay alive, since the adults have more life experience and would know these things. They can communicate a little bit, once they actually get organized, but getting organized so that it's not just chaos and the same questions being asked over and over would be the hard part.

The bad parts are that a) the grown ups might want to try and parent the kids from outside (suggesting things that just won't work because they don't understand the conditions inside the FAYZ), b) some adults may go crazy seeing their kids in that state, c) it's painful to be that close to someone you love but not be able to go to them, d) the adults now will know whether or not their children lived and if they became corrupted by the FAYZ (which will make for a lot of unhappy parents), and lastly, a lot of parents/kids won't ever be able to bridge that gap between them after what they saw through the FAYZ wall and the time spent apart, even with communication or if the barrier comes down. These are just the negative sides as I see them (all written up in one run-on sentence yay! /shot)
