Many members who are here have relatively the same questions in regards to the GONE series and Michael Grant. To make it easier and quicker on you to get answers to the common questions we've received, here we answer them for you.

Q. How do I contact Michael Grant?
A. Michael Grant has a confirmed account on Twitter (which is http://www.twitter.com/thefayz), a confirmed Facebook (which is http://www.facebook.com/authormichaelgrant) and his own website http://themichaelgrant.com. He is an active user of Twitter and Facebook, and does reply to questions as often as he can.

Q. Will there be a GONE movie or TV show?
A. Currently, there is no confirmed movie or TV show for GONE in the making. Michael Grant updates his Twitter and Facebook with information such as his meetings with producers interested in creating a movie or TV show and lately there seems to be more of a chance there will be a movie or TV show, but no one has bought the rights of the book to begin one.

Q. I want to be in the GONE movie/TV show! How do I audition?
A. As stated above, the GONE movie/TV show is only in talks currently. Michael Grant hasn't given anyone permission to create a movie/TV show so until he confirms it, there will be no GONE movie or TV show. Which means no auditions at the moment. Even if the movie/TV show gets the green light and is holding casting auditions, we aren't the ones who'll know where or when; you'll have to take the matter up with Michael Grant and/or whichever film studio/TV studio is making the movie.

Q. How many GONE books are there going to be?
A. There are six GONE books in the series, five of which are released. The titles are: GONE, HUNGER, LIES, PLAGUE, FEAR and LIGHT.

Q. When is LIGHT going to be released?
A. There has not been a confirmed release date for LIGHT, but in the UK copy of FEAR it states LIGHT will be released in 2013.

Q. I saw a member here called "MichaelGrant" and another called "JakeMates". Are they actually Michael and Jake?
A. Yes. As of lately they aren't very active here, but they sometimes drop in and post around the site. Michael even has his own part of the site to answer questions. If you want to ask him a question here, go to "Ask Michael..." (viewforum.php?f=23) and post a new topic with your question. If he answers, the topic will be moved to "Answered By Michael..." (viewforum.php?f=24).

Q. Who are the models on the GONE American covers?
A. It has been confirmed by Jake, Michael Grant's son, that the model for Caine is Bill Simcox (who appears on the back of GONE and the front of HUNGER), for Diana is Vienna Sirgiovanni (who appears on the back of GONE and the front of HUNGER) and for Sam is Erich Hayes (who appears on the front of GONE, back of HUNGER, front of LIES, back of PLAGUE, back of FEAR and front of LIGHT).

Q. What characters are on the GONE American covers?
A. GONE: Front: Astrid and Sam. Back: Diana and Caine.
HUNGER: Front: Diana and Caine. Back: Astrid and Sam.
LIES: Front: Sam and Astrid. Back: Brittney and Drake.
PLAGUE: Front: Astrid and Drake. Back: Sam and Brittney.
FEAR: Front: Diana and Drake. Back: Sam and Dekka.

Q. Has Michael Grant written any extra GONE material?
A. Q. What other books has Michael Grant wrote?
A. Apart from the GONE series, Michael Grant has wrote The Magnificent 12, BZRK (and is currently writing the BZRK 2) and worked with his wife K. A. Applegate on the books Making Out (Boyfriends/Girlfriends), Remnants, Animorphs and Everworld.

I still love Animorphs, although I like the Gone series more. I'm collecting all the Animorphs, although I'm getting the Gone series from the library since my books-I-need-to-buy list is at least 1 1/2 metres long.

Oh man! There so needs to be a TV show of this (I have no clue how it would work if it was made into a film they would miss so much out!), I would LOVE to be in it!! I would love t audition for Brianna or Lana or Mary or even Brittney!!! I couldn't play Astrid cause I don't have blond hair or Diana because Diana is too pretty for me to be :)

I started reading that series a few days before Gone. I loved it so much because the characters were so realistic and because of how the series ends. ^-^
