Gone is a multi part book thats a best seller interesting with good plot twists great characters.

The Maze Runner is a novel by James Dashner. I think it's a good book, like Gone. But I can't decide, which is better :D

( I had to read UNwind for english for like 1 month and a week or so some people were still reading after the month and i finished in a day..)

Ok, for a start, I'm reading Death Cure right now and it is nowhere near as good as GONE.

I also hate the way that the guy reviewing it says it's better than The Hunger Games. If you want to sell books, don't dis other books. I find that really immature. Yes, that's right, immature.

For a start, you won't get more readers by saying it's better than THG, fans will just hate that comment and not read. Stick to the one on the front saying it's just as good.

And just so you know, it's not better than THG and certainly not better than GONE. GONE is a masterpiece and books that are the size of The Maze Runner can't beat it.

I didn't really like the Maze Runner.

The first and second one were okay but I can't even get through the last one.

The first book was intriguing. I enjoyed the concept, and I didn't want to strangle Theresa yet. The Maze and the variables were all awesome plot possibilities. But then the second book came along...and it made no sense. At all. It was like Mr. Dashner just decided to throw all these cliches in and see what sticked. And it was weakly written, made even LESS sense...should I go on?

Oh, yes. Because I foolishly believed The Death Cure would make everything better. Cool title, right? You'd think Wicked wouldn't go bats.hit insane and You'd think an important death of a character would be written more...oh, I don't know, emotionally? Like the other characters actually give a damn? No. Because I had too high hopes.

In GONE, characters develop. They overcome their obstacles and struggle and try to build a society. In Maze Runner, no one seems to care their friends are dying, or the world is dying, or about much else.

Gone is far superior in every aspect. Except serving as a paperweight, that honor goes to Maze Runner. Because I'm never picking it up again.

I actually liked Teresa, I think everyone in the books are treating her unfairly. What I don't get is that Thomas knows he helped make the Maze and all the other Trials to find this cure but suddenly he thinks it's all unfair? Ok, I'm guessing that sounds stupid but listen.
-He knows He created them.
-He knows he had to put himself through it.
-He knows a lot of other stuff too, he just hasn't got the full picture.
-He knows it's to help cure the Flare.
-He knows he knew it was bad but he did it anyway.

How can't he get over the fact that it's all bad, he used to think it was good. I think Thomas is an idiot. Isn't this kid meant to be a genius?

I haven't read Maze Runner, but what I've heard of it hasn't made me eager to read it. xD

Never ever heard of Maze Runner, but everyone seems to dislike it. Re-reading the hobbit now, better than any other book in existence.

Well I'm obviously the minority here, but OH WELL.
I love the series, it's pretty cool to me. GONE/HP/THG are still my top books, but The Maze Runner is up there as well. :3

I picked up the Maze Runner a couple years back. It sounded interesting, had a good concept... and yet, I couldn't get through more than a few chapters. What I had read was quite intriguing (...I think), and for quite a while I've wanted to pick it back up, but just haven't really had a chance to.

But better than GONE? No. No way. It would take a LOT for a book to get the rank of 'Better than GONE', and if I can't even get through a book the first time I tried to read it, then it's obviously not even going to be able to dream of getting that rank.

I loved the Maze Runner. I thought it was excellent, but definitely not better than GONE.
