Do you think Astrid should have a power?

I said no in the poll, because really there is no need for her to have one. Also michael grant apparently said that he has taken her power that she said she had away, because it will play no future role in the books. don't know if thats a true statement though.

Well, she could just forget she's got a power. Or just say nothing. I mean, no one but Sam/Diana (one of them, don't remember which) know what it is, and it hasn't become a point, really. It can just fade away, pretty much. Or make a case for disappearing powers. Like it disappeared after Pete's death?

Nah, Astrid having a power is like pedals on a wheelchair: Cool at first, but it becomes more of a burden than anything when you have to remove it/them.

I really like that analogy. Even so, they did make a small point, but a point nonetheless, that Astrid was a two bar in Gone at least.

I think Astrid should have some type of power. Even if it's small and practically useless. It would give her something to deal with besides the life she already starts to hate. She needs to feel a little more like the others who have powers also as well as Little Petey. It just seems normal for her to have something.

i think that she should have a power. Especially if MG already mentioned it.I mean it would be good. Plus i think that it would make it more even with Sam and Astrid. And theres already Edilio and Albert to show that not all main characters have to have powers.

I don't think she should, but I also do at the same time. Just because Michael already made it clear that she has two bars, and letting that drop doesn't sit right with me. But putting that aside, I don't think giving her a power is a good idea because she just doesn't need one. So really what I'm trying to say is that I really wish Michael hadn't suggested it in Gone because now I kind of feel like it has to be dealt with and I don't want her to have a power. I'm willing to drop it though.

its not nesessery i mean shes got the power of smartness anyway. not that thats a power. shes just really smart and is more usful as the 'scientest' of the fayz than the hero. shes the one people come to if something new/strange is discovered and thats how it should be

Astrid is there to keep sanity in the Perdido crew, with or without powers she is still a brilliant and much loved character.

I think No, but only because I think otherwise they'd be no "Inter-ability" couples.
And by which I mean, a couple which has one normal and one moof.
Sastrid is the only inter-ability couple and i think that makes it more intruiging.

I mean, look at all the other couples:

CaineXDiana: Two moofs
JackXBrianna: Two moofs
DekkaXBrianna: Two moofs
CaineXPenny: Two moofs
SamXDiana: Two moofs
EdilioXRoger: Two normals
ZilXLance: Two normals
ZilXLisa: Two normals.

...
AstridXSam: One moof, one normal.

I think thats a interesting twist.
