Rules/Scoring System:
1. Each monster has an identity card with an individual number and unique ID code. Some monsters may not exist, example there may not be a monster #003 or a monster #029... So just find as many as you can.

2. Each monster has been assigned a certain amount of points. Some monsters are worth more points than others, so the more monsters you find, the more points you're likely to get.

3. As a bonus you will get extra points if you can give us the monster's name OR the origins of the monster (ie. the name of the film/computer game/tv show/comic/etc they originate from). You can give both the name and origin of the monster, but you will still only get the one extra point for the monster, however the more info you have on these beasts, the better!

4. Send a list of all the monsters you have found, their ID codes and the extra info you have on them to this Gaiaphage account. You can only enter the contest once. Make sure your entry is easy to follow/clear to read.

5. You must send your entry in on the 29th October, all entries will then be scored and the winners announced. EDIT: the closing for the contest has been extended slightly to give a specific end time. Please have entries in by 9am GMT on 30th October, thanks :)

6. If there is a tie then the winner will be picked from the entrant who gives the most info on the monster, if there is still a tie than the winner will be the entrant who sent their entry in first.

7. There may be one or two monsters on http://werewolf.gaiaphage.com & http://chat.gaiaphage.com - if there are you do not need to login to view them, they can be found without logging in :D

{If you're not sure of the monsters name or origin, just give it a name, like 'Evil Troll!', if nobody else knows the name then we'll give the point for the mention of 'troll' - assuming the monster looks like a troll!}

How do you the durdel rank and the monster hunter rank at the same time.

There should be more of these contests I feel, with custom ranks ect.

You choose which one you have.


I'm obviously going to choose the monster one.

Nah you can have both at the same time. The Monster Hunter rank gives you the bar but you won't have a coloured username (like bowties currently has - she's purple as she's also a Super Moof), so the Durdel rank - while you have it - will give you the yellow name, so you can have your name yellow with the custom rank image. (A bit like Amy has her Werewolf silver username with her Glen Coco Rank) hope this makes sense.

There'll also be a new rank for the Battle Royale winner(s).

Then in Christmas hopefully another new rank image.

BR winner, Galloween and Durdle.
I'm going to have a lot of ranks.

How do you know the origen of the monster :'<

you just remember it i guess
it's a benefit to those that know their monsters well

if you're a homestuck, you'll recognize bec when you find him. extra points to you.
if you aren't a whovian (i think that's a terminology) and find the weeping angel, you still get a lot of points. you just dont get the bonus.

Sou, you don't have to know the monster's origen to get the points but knowing it will get you a bonus..?

Exactly! You will get points for sending in the correct info on a monster card no matter what, but if you in addition to that add the origin of the monster and/or its name, you will receive a bonus point. :)
