Today, I finished the fifth book, Fear. It felt incomplete because Light does not come out until April 2013. After I finish reading each book, I get this weird feeling. It's almost like a butterfly-stomach combo. I can't explain it. I would go outside and every blonde head is Astrid. Every beautiful girl is Diana. I would look at things and think Jack could totally snap that, or crush it, or bend it. I'm addicted. My thoughts always come back to the books. I constantly want to be like Diana, even though she's evil. One time, I was listening to No Light, No Light by Florence + The Machines or something, and it said something about bright, blue eyes. (Spoiler Alert) I knew that Diana's baby's eyes would be blue. I seriously cannot wait until April. Seriously. How am I gonna survive??

Thoughts??
<3, Diana :diana:

If it's any comfort at all, I'm pretty sure that's a normal feeling for when you're reading an amazing book series. It's a kind of feeling movies, music or video games just can't give you. I got it at the age of eight when I started reading Harry Potter, there was a gap when I finished the last book, and now Gone has me going over the same thing again. Every time the newest book comes out, I finish it in about three days, and then there's a year-long period of withdrawal until the next book comes out. I'm sorry to make this comparison, but it's like a non-lethal form of drugs.

Though quite frankly, the assumption that Light's coming out in April is just that, only an assumption. All MG has said, as far as I know, is that it's coming out at some point next year. For all we know, it's not out til Christmas 2013.

.... OH GOD, WHY DID I JUST SUGGEST THAT???!!!

Honestly, I know it sounds weird but when I'm reading the books they come to life for me. Like one minute I'll be reading about Sam shooting greenish white light out of his hands in the street and I'll walk outside and hope to see it for myself. I relate so much with the characters. Michael Grant developed them so well in a way that I feel as if they are real people and when a character dies like Howard in fear, I feel like a person I know died. I can not handle the suspense in waiting for Light to come out, I will lose my mind. Somehow this series has to be summed up and I really don't know how that will happen. There's always such a twist. I did not expect the ending of Fear to be what it was at all. I am so excited for Light, it should have such an interesting twist. I want to marry a boy like Sam <3

I know sad. and my locker/ room is decorated with the gone series!!!!!!!! And whenever a teacher says that theres a maths test tommorrow or whatever i always say OMG I wish i was dead, but then i think NO!!!!!! I have to survive until April 2013!!!!! I know it's really sad. But oh well.........................There's always a LIGHT at the end of the tunnel!!!!!!

The reason I had these books was out of fate. Well, my dad told me to either pick the GONE books or twilight...I picked GONE. It is the best book/s I have and will ever read. I DONT WANT IT TO END!
