27) Well, I got my sister to read it by telling her there was a Hipanic guy in it. She immediately went from telling me to go away to demanding that I give it to her immediately. My sister likes Hispanic guys. She only read the first few chapters though... I'm still working on it.

28) Target the people who like the same kinds of books as you.

29) Once these people have read it, you can get them go help you pester everyone else into reading it.

30) Tell them that it may be banned from the school system for being too graphic.

31) Point out things that are in the book that your friends will like.

32) Promise to read their books or listen too their music or something to that effect.

33) Tell them that your relative wrote it.

34) Beg.

I stole my friends iPod and refused to give it her back until she'd read all of GONE and could give me at least 5 quotes from it, then I wouldn't let her borrow HUNGER until she'd got someone else to read GONE and give me 5 quotes.. same with LIES, PLAGUE and FEAR >:)
