Dangit I forgot that she put her hand below the broken bone, not above it, but I figured anywhere around the bone would be excruciatingly painful at the least. Done for a contest on deviantart.

Have to say, researching the gangrene was disgusting. I'm no squeamish at all but that was just bad stuff.

Amazing! I love the detail and the textures. The colors add to the effect, making it look more realistic. You can see the pain Lana is going through in the picture, with just the small details. Also, I LOVE the hair and eyes. They are very bright, very pretty. And Patrick is just lying there, being all adorable. I like how you added the darker red under his neck as well from the wound. I also like her outfit, specially the shirt. Very details! Great job!

The only thing that kind of stood out for me was the background. I like how you have her lying down from that perspective, but the ground looks almost as if it doesn't quite match, seeing as it's not quite as detailed as the rest of the drawing.

Still, in all, amazing picture! Hope to see more of your work ^-^

@Jiffers21 - Thank you for that big comment 8D Yeah I should have shaded inside the cracks with a darker colour but at that point I was already on an extended time for the contest so I kiiiiiiind of rushed on the background D: And I used Photoshop CS4 to both sketch and colour it (:
